Join Us!!
Volunteering with Reid's LemonAID allows us to see children growing from their experiences and becoming better citizens. We are also supporting a truly worthy cause, one for which we can actually see the results in the form of Reid.
We organize and run several events each year in and around the Glen Ellyn area. The largest is a 5K family fun bike ride, Reid's Ride for Research, coming up on Saturday, April 19th (more info). We need numerous volunteers, of all ages, for planning, making donation requests, organizing the silent auction, working with the city and the Park District, talking to local organizations about the event, and lots of other fun things.
We also host LemonAID stands at events such as the Glen Ellyn 4th of July parade. The children serve lemonade to the hot, thirsty parade goers and collect donations. We can always use help with these.
